Affiliate terms

These terms apply to anyone who earns commission from BLK purchases made through a BlockHaus referral link. By sharing a link or accepting a payout, you agree to them.

1. Who can take part

• You must be at least 18.
• You can be a partner wherever you live. You must not be named on any sanctions list, because BlockHaus cannot lawfully pay anyone who is.
• Every BLK buyer gets a referral link made from their wallet address. Anyone else can sign up for one on the affiliates page, with the Polygon wallet commission should be paid to.
• One link per person. BlockHaus staff, directors and the people they live with cannot earn commission.

2. What you earn

• 25% of the USDT a buyer you referred spends, for purchases the presale contract records in Phase 1 ($0.10 per BLK, until $150,000 has been raised).
• 20% of the USDT spent, for purchases the contract records in any later phase.
• Commission is paid in USDT on Polygon, to the wallet your link belongs to.
• Commission is earned only on completed purchases on the BlockHaus presale contract. Nothing else earns commission.
• BlockHaus pays no fees, no upfront payments and nothing for posts. Commission is the only payment.
• We may change the rate for future purchases by posting the change on this page at least 14 days before it applies. Each purchase keeps the rate that applied when it was made.

3. How a buyer is linked to you

• The first purchase a wallet makes with a valid referral code ties that wallet to that code for good. It cannot be moved to another code, and its later purchases count for the same partner.
• A wallet already tied to another code earns you nothing.
• Our ledger reads every purchase from the blockchain. Its record of who referred whom is final.

4. When you are paid

• Every Monday, after each purchase has been checked again on the blockchain and approved by BlockHaus.
• Amounts under $5 carry over to the next week.
• Any single purchase over $5,000 is held until it has been checked by hand.
• Where we have a reasonable concern about a purchase, we may hold its commission for up to 90 days while we check it. We tell you in writing what we are checking and why, and may ask you or the buyer for information showing the purchase is genuine. If you do not answer within 14 days, that commission is cancelled.
• Payment to the wallet your link belongs to counts as paid. You are responsible for that wallet. We cannot reverse or resend a payment.
• You are responsible for any tax on what you earn.

5. What is not allowed

No commission is paid on a purchase that involves any of the following, and any of them is a breach of these terms. If we find that you and a buyer share wallets or are the same person, we may treat the purchase as your own.

• Buying through your own link, or through any other wallet you own or control.
• Sending a buyer the USDT for their purchase from your own wallet, or from any wallet you control.
• Fake, automated or circular purchases, or splitting a purchase, or arranging several purchases across wallets, to stay under the $5,000 check.
• Promising or suggesting profit, returns, price rises, guaranteed value or safety; saying BLK is listed on an exchange before it is; or giving a wrong price or phase.
• Presenting yourself as BlockHaus or its team, or creating websites, social accounts, groups or adverts that use the BlockHaus or BLK name as if they were ours.
• Promoting, advertising or sending messages about BLK to people you know or have reason to believe are in the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates or a sanctioned country.
• Spam: unsolicited bulk messages, bought contact lists, posting where promotion is not allowed, or fake reviews.
• Paid search adverts on the words BlockHaus or BLK.
• Anything that breaks the law where you or the buyer are.

6. If these terms are broken

• We may cancel all unpaid commission on your link and close your link. Buyers tied to a closed link earn no further commission for anyone.
• If commission was paid on a purchase that later turns out to break these terms, we may take it back from any future commission and require you to repay it.
• You can ask us to review a decision once, by emailing hi@theblockhaus.io within 14 days. Our answer after that review is final.

7. Your relationship with BlockHaus

• You act for yourself. You are not our employee or agent, and you cannot make promises or agree anything on behalf of BlockHaus.
• You are free to promote other projects too.
• You can stop at any time. We can close a link or end the programme at any time. Unless you broke these terms, commission already earned on valid purchases is still paid.

8. The public record

Every referred purchase and every payout is shown on the affiliates page, with shortened wallet addresses, the referral code, the amounts and the blockchain transactions. By taking part you agree to this.

9. Limits

Our total liability to you is limited to commission you have earned on valid purchases and not yet been paid. We are not responsible for lost wallets or keys, network fees, delays on the blockchain, or the price of BLK.

10. Changes, law and contact

• We may update these terms. Changes are posted here with a new date and apply to purchases made after that date.
• These terms form part of our Terms and Conditions. On anything about referrals and commission, if the two conflict, these affiliate terms decide. Governing law and disputes follow the Terms and Conditions.
